The present invention provides a mobile terminal and a control method thereof for displaying augmented reality. The present invention includes: a wireless communication unit which performs communication with an air conditioner; a camera which receives an image for at least one subject; a display unit which outputs the image including at least one graphic object corresponding to at least one subject; and a control unit which outputs state information of the air conditional including operation information related to wind to be outputted from the air conditional around the graphic object corresponding to the air conditional when one of at least one subject is the air conditioner.
