摘要 The present invention relates to a positive electrode active material, including a lithium transition metal oxide particle; and LiF formed on the lithium transition metal oxide particle, a manufacturing method thereof and a lithium secondary battery including the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a positive electrode active material is allowed to reduce an amount of lithium impurity formed on the surface and accordingly inhibits side reaction with an electrolyte, minimizing swelling in a lithium secondary battery where using a certain fluoride based polymer can resolve resistance problems caused by residue fluoride based polymers generated when fluoride based polymers are treated by heat, thereby improving electrochemical properties.
