Disclosed are a remote control system for an offshore platform in an emergency, and a method thereof. According to the remote control system for an offshore platform in an emergency, an emergency control system for an offshore platform comprises: an offshore platform provided on the sea; and a floating control unit provided in a nearby sea area outside a danger zone of the offshore platform in case of an emergency. The offshore platform is remotely controlled by the floating control unit in case of an emergency.
