<p>A method for generating a bounding volume is disclosed. The bounding volume is used to easily determine whether a collision between 3D objects has occurred. The disclosed bounding volume is defined by an intersection of (2K+1) spheres. Therefore, it can be easily determined whether specific bounding volumes collide with each other, and it can also be easily determined whether a specific ray and a bounding volume collide with each other.</p> |
