A liquid holding container includes an inlet port to which ink to be supplied to a printer is introduced. The liquid holding container has a first part where at least a portion is positioned to be outside the printer and a second part where at least a portion is inserted into the printer. At least a portion of the bottom section of the first part is lower than at least a portion of the bottom section of the second part.

1. A liquid holding container adapted to hold liquid to be supplied to a liquid consuming apparatus, the liquid holding container comprising:
a liquid holding body including a first part and a second part configured to accommodate the liquid therein,
at least a portion of the first part being positioned to be outside the liquid consuming apparatus in a state where the liquid holding container is mounted in the liquid consuming apparatus, andat least a portion of the second part being inserted into the liquid consuming apparatus in the state where the liquid holding container is mounted in the liquid consuming apparatus; and an inlet port through which the liquid is introduced to the liquid holding body, the inlet port being accessible from outside of the liquid holding container, wherein at least a portion of a bottom section of the first part is lower than at least a portion of a bottom section of the second part.
