According to the present invention, an apparatus for testing drilling efficiency of a drill bit and a testing method using the same can obtain an optimal button arrangement by calculating an amount of rock crushing in accordance with the button arrangement. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: a striking member having a button; a striking energy generation unit transferring energy for striking a rock sample to the striking member; and a fixing and transferring means transferring the rock sample at a predetermined distance after the striking, while fixing the rock sample not to be moved by the striking.
