<p>The present invention relates to a drying unit for food garbage capable of drying food garbage by stirring the food garbage in one direction while directly heating the food garbage, and collecting the food garbage by stirring the food garbage in the opposite direction. The drying unit for food garbage comprises: a drying container (100) which has an accommodation space (110) accommodating food garbage and having an open upper part; a heater member (200) fixated such that the accommodation space (110) of the drying container (100) is vertically divided, dries the accommodated food garbage by applying heat, and includes a discharging hole (211) discharging the dried food garbage to the lower part; a dispersing/gathering member (300) provided on an upper part of the heater member (200) to be rotated, rotates to disperse the heated and dried food garbage to the outside, and reversely rotates such that the dispersed and dried food garbage is gathered inward and discharged to the lower part; and a driving member (400) which normally or reversely rotates the dispersing/gathering member (300).</p> |
