<p>The present invention relates to a wheel anti-theft system and a wheel anti-theft method using a TPMS sensor and, specifically, to a system and a method capable of determining and alarming the thefts of a tire and a wheel in a vehicle using a TPMS sensor. The system comprises: the TPMS sensor transmitting a motion sensing signal when sensing the motion (rolling or shock) of the wheel; a communication module through which information can be transmitted and received in the vehicle; a TPMS sensor control ECU determining the theft of the wheel when obtaining the motion sensing signal from the TPMS sensor in the case of an IG (ignition)-off state in the vehicle; and an alarm unit generating an alarm when obtaining a wheel theft signal from the TPMS sensor control ECU.</p> |
