APPARATUS AND METHOD OF LABELING DRAWING REFERENCE

An apparatus and method for labeling drawing references are provided. The apparatus for labeling drawing references includes: a region division unit configured to divide a drawing region where multiple components are illustrated into multiple regions; a first region retrieving unit configured to retrieve a first region including a target component on which a drawing reference is to be labeled, among the regions; a second region retrieving unit configured to retrieve a second region on which a drawing reference is to be labeled in the retrieved first region; and a labeling unit configured to label a drawing reference on the retrieved second region. Thus, even in the case of a complex drawing illustrated with a large number of components, component references may be easily labeled.
