The present invention relates to a gear shift control method of an automated manual transmission with a torque assist, which is capable of improving fuel efficiency in the case of shifting a gear down during coasting. According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a gear shift control method of an automated manual transmission with a torque assist, which comprises: a coasting determination step of determining whether a vehicle coasts or not when identifying a current condition for the vehicle; a DFCO mode determination step of determining whether a DFCO mode is operated or not when the coasting of the vehicle is determined in the coasting determination step; and a gear shift step of disconnecting a clutch and shifting a gear when the operation of the DFCO mode is determined in the DFCO mode determination step. In the gear shift step, even if the clutch is disconnected, the DFCO mode can be maintained when the drop of an engine RPM is prevented by the slip control of the torque assist transmitting power from an engine to a wheel.
|
