1. A roof panel of a sealed floating roof for a storage tank, comprising:
a first frame segment and a second frame segment, wherein each of the first and second frame segments comprises a first top depression configured to abut an adjacent top depression of a respective frame segment of a respective adjacent roof panel to form a walled trough to guide an automatic welder along a weld joint during a welding process; and a first panel sheet and a second panel sheet, wherein the first panel sheet is supported by a respective upper lip of each of the first and second frame segments, and the second panel sheet is supported by a respective lower lip of each of the first and second frame segments and wherein each of the first and second panel sheets are coupled to each of the first and second frame segments to form the roof panel.
