<p>Device for creating charged particles of high energy in which negative ions have acquired high energy by the action of an electric field are converted into positive ions with the aid of an organ for withdrawing electrons fixed in an area of high positive potential and subsequently raised to even higher energy by the effect of a still higher energy. At some distance of the first organ a second one for removing electrons is provided for removing further electrons from positive ions which have acquired higher energy. Im proved efficiency is the advantage claimed.</p> |
