FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: passenger seat with energy-absorbing backrest consists of base, cushion and backrest with armrest. The cushion has carcass rigidly fixed on base by means of screw-holt joint and connected with central part of torsion by means of metal braces. Ends of torsion are connected with hubs installed in side pieces of seat backrest. In the upper part, side pieces have ratchet gear crown connected with fixture gimbal-mounted with seat base.EFFECT: higher passenger safety due to lower kinetic energy of impact on passenger who does not use restraints or uses two-point safety belt.2 dwg
