According to the present invention, a robot cleaner comprises: a robot cleaner main body; a line sensor provided on a lower surface of a robot cleaner main body to sense a line arranged on the ground facing the lower surface of the robot cleaner main body during operation; an obstacle sensor provided in a traveling direction of the robot cleaner main body to sense the obstacle positioned in a traveling direction during operation; a control means controlling the traveling direction in an area formed by a line arranged on the ground based on line information sensed by the line sensor according to the position where the corresponding line is sensed; and a driving motor operating a traveling wheel and a cleaning brush provided on the robot cleaner main body based on the control signal.
