The present invention relates to an A/D conversion method capable of externally outputting an original digital signal value for an analog input signal amplified by a signal amplifier without implementing a plurality of amplification circuits, each of which is configured with a conventional signal amplifier and an A/D converter. To this end, the present invention presets in a controller a signal size of a certain range within a linear area of the signal amplifier, and when a digital signal value output by the A/D converter is out of the signal size range preset by the controller, automatically adjusts an offset of the analog input signal according to at least one preset offset adjustment size value to allow the output digital signal value to be in the preset signal size range. Then the signal amplifier amplifies an analog input signal of which offset is adjusted, the A/D converter converts the amplified signal into a digital signal value, and then the controller corrects the digital signal value into the original digital signal value to output the corrected value to the outside. According to the present invention, the A/D converter can output a digital signal value having a higher resolution than an original resolution of the A/D converter. Accordingly, a circuit size can be minified, a manufacturing cost can be reduced, and a disadvantage in that signal continuity is lowered can be overcome.
|
