POX REFORMING REACTOR AND SOLID OXIDE FUEL CELL COMPRISING THE SAME

A catalytic particle oxidation reforming reactor according to an embodiment of the technical concept in the present invention comprises a catalyst accommodating unit for accommodating a reforming catalytic layer; and extending units disposed in both sides of the catalyst accommodating unit. The extending units are formed to be smaller than the diameter of the catalyst accommodating unit, the catalyst accommodating unit is made of carbon steel pipes (PIPE SGP), and the extending units may be made of stainless steel. Moreover, a portable solid oxide fuel cell according to another embodiment of the technical concept in the present invention has each component provided with a power source by means of a battery installed therein during operation, so that initialization and inspection (IBIT) are performed. When a system is in a normal state, an air blower is operated so that air starts to be supplied to a reforming reactor. A power source is supplied to an electric heating catalyst (EHC) so that the reforming reactor starts to be heated. When the temperature of a reforming catalyst reaches a particular temperature, a fuel starts to be supplied. The catalytic particle oxidation reforming reactor starts to reform and generate heat. When the temperature of the reforming reactor reaches a particular temperature, a power source supplied to the EHC is blocked. A rear end combustor is operated, and a reforming gas is supplied to the rear end combustor, so that heating by means of fuel combustion is started. When air preheated through a heat exchanger reaches a particular temperature, the air is supplied to the cathode of a stack so that the stack starts to be heated. When the temperature of the stack reaches a particular temperature, the reforming gas is supplied to the anode of the stack so that generation can be started.
