A method of detecting collision of a tag in an RFID system of the present invention includes: transmitting, by an RFID middleware, a protocol for collecting an event; transmitting a Query/Rep message from an RFID reader based on the protocol transmitted from the RFID middleware to an RFID tag; transforming the RFID tag positioned in an RFID network from an idle state to a preready state, which is a lower power mode, in response to a power on reset signal; checking a reception sensitivity of a wireless frequency signal from the RFID tag during response waiting time related to the response through an antenna of the RFID reader; and determining a response related access state of the RFID tag from the RFID reader according to the check result to selectively transmit a command message which commands a read/write of the corresponding RFID tag. |
