<p>The present invention relates to a self cut bolt which is composed of a bolt (100) where a chip pocket (120) is formed at one end thereof in order to allow self cut of an inserted body. The outer diameter of a screw thread formed on the outer circumferential surface of a body unit (110) of the bolt (100) is larger than the outer diameter of a standard bolt. The chip pocket (120) is formed at the fore-end of the body unit (100) in a groove shape. Therefore, the self cut bolt can reduce production costs by reprocessing the inner circumferential surface of an insertion hole through bolt insertion instead of replacing the entire inserted body due to a damaged insertion hole, and can improve marketability and work convenience by enabling processing and bolting at the same time during insertion of the bolt into the insertion hole on the inserted body.</p> |
