The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric having improved durability and to a fabric manufactured thereby. According to the method for manufacturing a moisture-permeable waterproof fabric of the present invention, provided is a three-layered moisture-permeable waterproof fabric wherein fiber fabrics woven with polyester yarn or dyed after knitting are stacked on both surfaces of a moisture-permeable waterproof film composed of polyurethane. The three-layered water-permeable waterproof fabric according to the present invention discharges sweat easily owing to the water-permeable and waterproof performance of the water-permeable waterproof film and has excellent protective performance from infective disease-causing germs by blocking the penetration of the infective disease-causing germs from the outside. The moisture-permeable waterproof film is composed of polyurethane to reduce the danger of secondary infection by supplying products having excellent barrier properties against infective disease-causing germs to medical institutions at low costs compared with a traditional material of PTFE. Also, the moisture-permeable waterproof fabric according to the present invention can be reused as adhesion durability between layers constituting the moisture-permeable waterproof fabric has been reinforced by plasma treatment to ensure washing durability during many times of washing together with high-temperature sterilization. In addition, the moisture-permeable waterproof fabric according to the present invention provides lightness and provides pleasantness during wearing as a lining sheet is not needed during sewing. |
