APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEALING CARBON STORAGE IN GROUND

The present invention relates to a shielding apparatus to prevent a leakage of a carbon dioxide storage in the ground. A shielding configuration is installed between an excavating hole hollow wall and a casing. A cylinder is installed in the shielding configuration, and operated by a hydraulic or a water pressure for a shielding section to be formed by pressurizing a shielding rubber ring. A grouting section is formed by being injected with a shielding material to prevent leakage of the carbon dioxide storage formed in the ground. According to the present invention, the shielding apparatus to prevent the leakage of the carbon dioxide storage in the ground comprises: an excavating hole (10) interconnected to a carbon dioxide storage unit (1) formed in the ground; a pressure tube casing (20) inserted into the excavating hole (10), providing a space for an installation of an injection device (2) injecting carbon dioxide into the carbon dioxide storage unit, and being filled with ground water therein; and a shielding means connected and installed in the pressure tube casing, shielding a gap between an excavating hollow wall and the pressure tube casing.
