The present invention relates to an electromagnetic relay to be appropriate for operation characteristic without increasing costs. According to the present invention, the electromagnetic relay (1) includes: a contact unit having a fixing contact (2) and a moving contact (3) to be displaced in an access/separation direction for the fixing contact (2); a moving core (5) which is connected to the moving contact (3) through a shaft core (4); a coil (13); a first plate member (12) having an insertion penetration hole (121) which inserts and penetrates the shaft core (4); a driving unit (7) which has the fixing core to form a second plate member (10) to include a coil (13); and a permanent magnet (19) having a polarity direction to be vertical with the access/separation direction. The present invention includes extension units (12c, 10c) of which one among the first plate member (12) and the second plate member (10) is extended toward the contact unit, and the extension units (12c, 10c) maintain the permanent magnet (19). |
