The present invention relates to an improved method for manufacturing a PEMFC bipolar plate by which a water-repellent treatment is performed inside the radius of rotation of a short-shaft channel that rotates in a long-shaft channel as a main channel so that condensate water in a reaction gas flow path can be easily discharged. The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a PEMFC bipolar plate, which is a bipolar plate for a fuel cell that uses a stainless steel sheet, including: (a) a step for preparing the stainless steel sheet; (b) a step for treating a surface of the stainless steel sheet to be hydrophilic; (c) a step for molding a bipolar plate, which has a channel recessed to a first surface or a second surface, by pressing the stainless steel sheet; and (d) a step for molding an opening portion that penetrates the first surface and the second surface molded in the bipolar plate, in which the water-repellent surface treatment is performed through a process in which the masked surface of the stainless steel sheet not subject to the hydrophilic treatment is left in the short-shaft channel rotating in the long-shaft channel in the channel formed in the bipolar plate prior to the hydrophilic treatment step in the channel in an inside portion of the radius of rotation. |
