A liquid crystal display according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a first substrate and a second substrate which face each other; a pixel electrode arranged on the first substrate; a common electrode arranged on the common electrode; and a liquid crystal layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The common electrode includes a first cutting part of a cross shape. The pixel electrode includes a first sub pixel electrode of a rhombus shape, a second sub pixel electrode which surrounds the first sub pixel electrode, a second cutting part which is adjacent to one among the edges of the second sub pixel electrode and is arranged along the edge, and a third cutting part which separates the first sub pixel electrode from the second sub pixel electrode.
