The present invention relates to a method for producing soybean with increased isoflavone content and antioxidant activity, which is characterized by radiating far-infrared ray on germinated soybean seed after geminating a soybean seed soaked in water, a soybean with increased isoflavone content and antioxidant activity produced by the method; and a food or drink containing the soybean with increased isoflavone content and antioxidant activity. The optimal condition of increasing isoflavone content and antioxidant activity obtained through the present invention not only can be used as a soybean product with maximized specific functional ingredients after, but also can be expected to be used as a basic research data applied to various plants except for soybean. |
