<p>PURPOSE: An initial charging circuit of a high voltage battery of a vehicle is provided to limit a peak current flowing in a high voltage relay by minimizing a voltage change width in the end of an initial charging process. CONSTITUTION: A resistance variable initial charging circuit(30) includes a plurality of initial charging units. A plurality of initial charging units are connected in parallel with the high voltage relay. Each initial charging unit is comprised of an initial charging relay(331,33,35) and an initial charging resistor(32,34,36). The initial charging relay and the initial charging resistor are serially connected. The initial charging resistors have different resistances. The initial charging relay uses the current in proportion with the resistance of the initial charging resistor.</p> |
