The invention relates to a vibration damper applicable to a vibrating structure such as a vehicle, the vibration damper comprising: first and second constrained layers (2, 3) consisting of a polymer material, the constrained layers being superimposed and sealed on the peripheries thereof, and a damping layer (1) consisting of a fluid which is thermo-viscous at ambient temperature, said thermo-viscous fluid having a dynamic viscosity coefficient of higher than 100 Pa.s at ambient temperature, the damper layer extending between the first and second constrained layers.</p> |
