Disclosed is a regeneration method of an air dryer, which comprises: a check step of measuring the pressure of compressed air stored in an air tank; a pressure control step of reducing pressure in a pipe by performing a discharge operation on a separator in order to discharge foreign matters from the inside of the separator and the compressed air from the inside of the pipe when the solenoid valve of the air dryer is controlled to transmit the compressed air to the separator in case the pressure in the air tank is excessive; and a regeneration step of performing the regeneration of the air dryer when blocking the supply of the compressed air to the separator and transmitting the compressed air to an air compressor by controlling the solenoid valve of the air dryer in case of the reduction of the pressure in the pipe. When the air dryer is regenerated, the disclosed regeneration method is capable of preventing that the regeneration of the air dryer is interrupted by a high pressure in a pipeline in which the compressed air flows, thereby increasing regeneration efficiency. |
