The present invention relates to a high voltage pulse generator using a transformer which can generate a high voltage pulse by boosting fundamental and harmonic components of a low frequency pulse waveform through a transformer and combining the boosted fundamental and harmonic components into one. The high voltage pulse generator using a transformer according to the present invention comprises: a low voltage generation unit (100) to generate a low voltage pulse waveform consisting of fundamental and odd harmonic components; a transformer circuit unit (200) to boost each of the fundamental and odd harmonic components of the low voltage pulse waveform, which are generated by the low voltage generation unit (100), to a high voltage component through a transformer; and a high voltage electrode unit (300) to generate a high voltage pulse by combining the high voltage components boosted by the transformer circuit unit (200), thereby simply generating the high voltage pulse through the transformer without using a separate switching circuit or vacuum tube. |
