A distribution board of the present invention comprises: a relay unit which is located between a power supply line and a socket; a socket operation control unit to control operation of the relay unit; a current consumption measuring unit or a power consumption measuring unit to measure instant current consumption or instant power consumption that is consumed in the socket to be outputted to the socket operation control unit; and a current consumption input unit or a power consumption input unit to input a desired number. The socket operation control unit is provided to determine whether there is a number inputted by the current consumption input unit or the power consumption input unit, to set the inputted number as a size of actual allowable instant current consumption or actual allowable instant power consumption if there is the inputted number, to operate the relay unit after a size of predetermined set-up allowable instant current consumption or set-up allowable instant power consumption is set as the size of the actual allowable instant current consumption or the actual allowable instant power consumption if there is no inputted number, and to suspend the operation of the relay unit when a size of the instant current consumption or instant power consumption that is determined by the current consumption measuring unit or the power consumption measuring unit excesses the size of the actual allowable instant current consumption or the actual allowable instant power consumption, thereby improving user satisfaction by adjusting available power according to request of a user when the distribution board is used. |
