The present invention relates to a pavement construction method using joint sand that can maintain pavement materials in a fixed state to prevent friction between the pavement materials due to a load of a vehicle, while rainwater percolates down through the pavement materials. The method includes the steps of: arranging pavement materials on the ground at regular intervals (S1); dousing the constructed pavement materials with water to create a wet state (S2); preparing joint sand to be filled between the pavement materials (S3); pouring the joint sand on the wet pavement materials and filling gaps of the pavement materials with the joint sand by a push rod, while the top surface of the pavement materials is coated with the joint sand (S4); and verifying an empty space between the joint sand filled between the pavement materials by spraying water onto the pavement materials (S5). The joint sand consists of water and a mixture containing 100 parts by weight of silica and 6 parts by weight of epoxy solution, in wherein 1 liter of water is mixed with 10 to 15 Kg of the mixture. The epoxy solution contains 100 parts by weight of epoxy resin and 50 parts by weight of a hardener. The pavement material (1) is formed with bosses (2) spaced apart from each other on the outer surface. The bosses (2) have a height lower than that of the pavement material (1) so as not to be exposed from the upper portion thereof. |
