<p>The present invention relates to equipment and a method to change a knife of a welder for an endless hot rolling process which can safely and promptly replace a pair of knives installed inside the welder. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the equipment to change a knife of a welder for an endless hot rolling process comprises: a frame having an upper space and a lower space for the knives to be located respectively; an insertion and withdrawal unit installed in the frame to be moved toward the welder in order for the knives to be inserted into or withdrawn from the welder; a moving unit whereon a pair of first knives is mounted, being installed in the frame to be moved to the front in order not to interfere with the movement of a pair of second knives withdrawn from the welder; and a lifting unit whereon the second knives withdrawn from the welder are mounted, being installed in the frame to be elevated not to interfere with the movement of the first knives inserted into the welder.</p> |
