摘要 <p>The present invention provides a method for generating cutting data by optimizing a gap between ship members, which reduces a gap between ship members according to whether the slopes of the ship members exist when generating cutting data to reduce consumption of steel plates to reduce ship production costs, thereby providing economic effects. For this, the method for generating cutting data by optimizing a gap between ship members generates cutting data on ship members using a nesting system to cut steel plates. The method comprises a first step of extracting data on the shape and size of a ship member from a CAD system, and extracting data on the shape and size of a steel plate from a steel material management system; a second step of arranging a plurality of ship members according to a preset separation value to suit the size of the steel plate based on the information extracted in the first step; and a third step of generating cutting data using data where the arrangement of the ship members is completed, and transmitting the generated cutting data to a cutting information database, wherein a gap between the ship members is adjusted by adding an offset value to the separation value for the ship members according to whether slopes exist on the cut portions of the ship members in the second step.</p>
