<p>The present invention relates to a geopolymer using silicon manganese slag powder and to a manufacturing method of the geopolymer. More specifically, the present invention relates to a geopolymer using silicon manganese slag powder and to a manufacturing method of the geopolymer, wherein the geopolymer produces low CO_2 emissions, has excellent mechanical and chemical characteristics such as compressive strength and the like and can be used as a complete substitute material for cement by using the silicon manganese slag powder as a raw material of the geopolymer. The silicon manganese slag powder has high contents of silicon dioxide (SiO_2) and aluminum oxide (Al_2O_3) to activate polymerization of the geopolymer and has a high content of calcium oxide (CaO) to activate hydration like ordinary cement. The geopolymer using the silicon manganese slag powder of the present invention comprises: 55 wt% of a binder in which the weight ratio of an alkali activator is 9:1-8:2 with respect to the weight of the silicon manganese slag powder, wherein the alkali activator is selected from sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and potassium hydroxide (KOH); and 45 wt% of water.</p> |
