The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display capable of improving aperture ratio and liquid crystal control. A liquid crystal display according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a first substrate and a second substrate which face each other, a pixel electrode arranged on the first substrate, a common electrode arranged on the second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate. The common electrode includes a first cutting part having a cross shape. The pixel electrode includes a second cutting part which is adjacent to at least one among the edges of pixel electrode and is arranged along the edge. The pixel electrode has a step difference between by the boundary line of a rhombus shape.
