Introduced is an apparatus for preventing overcharge of a battery. The apparatus includes a holder which is interposed between each cell stacked on the inside of a battery and surrounds a cell in a stack direction; an installation space which is formed between the outer edges of at least two holders which surround the cell; a fluid pouch which is prepared in the installation space, is adjacent to the cell in the inside of the installation space, and is filled with fluid; and a cutting part which is prepared in the installation space, has one end part adjacent to the fluid pouch and the other end part where a cutter blade faces a gap between a lead tap and a bus bar.
