The purpose of the present invention is to provide an idler roll seating unit for providing a specific seating position for an idler roll and for facilitating the positioning of the idler roll and a twin roll strip caster having the same. The idler roll seating unit according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a case body fixed to an external frame; and a connection part of which the four sides are elastically adjusted to be positioned at the center of the case body and which is joined to a roll choke for supporting an idler roll. In addition to this, the twin roll strip caster according to an embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a fixed roll provided in a fixed position; an idler roll which is seated to be horizontal to the fixed roll to form a strip by receiving molten steel and which adjusts a distance to the fixed roll; and the idler roll seating unit provided between the external frame and the idler roll.
