Disclosed is a method for operating a surgical navigational system which can allow a user to easily recognize a depth level between virtual organ models and a depth relationship between the virtual organ model and a surgical instrument in virtual reality by three-dimensionally rendering a two-dimensional organ image, which is shaped through augmented reality, to convert the two-dimensional organ image into the virtual organ model. The method for operating a surgical navigational system comprises the steps of: identifying an object from a body image taken by a camera; shaping a two-dimensional organ image of the object using augmented reality; and making a virtual organ model by three-dimensionally rendering the organ image. |
