The present invention provides a multilayer ceramic capacitor which includes: a ceramic body on which multiple dielectric layers are stacked, an active layer which includes multiple first and second internal electrodes which are formed to be alternately exposed through both cross sections of the ceramic body by interposing the dielectric layer, top and bottom cover layers which are formed on the upper and lower sides of the active layer, and first and second external electrodes which include head parts which are formed on both cross sections of the ceramic body and band parts which are extended from the head parts to a part of the mounting surface of the ceramic body. The thickness of the top or bottom cover layer is C. The margin of the width direction of the active layer is M. The cross section of the width-thickness direction of the ceramic body is Ac. The cross section of the width-thickness direction of an overlap part of the thickness direction of the first and second internal electrodes on the active layer is Aa. The width of the band part of the first or second external electrode is B. 1.826<=C/M<=4.686, 0.2142<=Aa/Ac<=0.4911, and 0.5050<=C/B<=0.9094 are satisfied.
