The clamp device may include a first flange and a second flange configured to clamp the cutting blade therebetween. The drive system may transmit rotation of the electric motor to the cutting blade via the first flange.

1. A cutting device comprising:
an electric motor; a cutting blade; a clamp device having a first flange and a second flange configured to clamp the cutting blade therebetween; and a drive system configured to transmit rotation of the electric motor to the cutting blade; the drive system having a belt transmission mechanism; wherein the belt transmission mechanism includes a drive pulley, a driven pulley and a belt extending between the drive pulley and the driven pulley; and wherein the driven pulley is coupled to the first flange of the clamp device.
