<p>The present invention relates to the technical field of communications, in particular to a network capability information transmitting method and device, used to solve the problem in the prior art of difficulty in providing network capability information for a third-party application platform or a user equipment (UE). The network capability information transmitting method comprises: a first network side entity running an operational support system (OSS) receives from a second network side entity a request message for subscribing to network capability information; according to the request message, the first network side entity instructs a radio access network (RAN) node to determine the network capability information, sends the network capability information determined by the RAN node to the second network side entity, or sends notification information to the second network side entity, the notification information being used to instruct the second network side entity to read from a network capability information storage entity the network capability information determined by the RAN node; and thus the second network side entity can provide the obtained network capability information for a third-party application platform or a UE.</p> |
