<p>PURPOSE: A sensor tag is provided to efficiently manage battery power by automatically determining the generation of sensing data and generating important sensing data. CONSTITUTION: A sensor unit(645) obtains sensing data through a sensor based on power of a battery(615). The sensor unit transmits a wakeup signal to an RF(Radio Frequency) unit(605) based on the power to confirm the activation of the RF unit. If the RF unit is activated, the sensor unit supplies the sensing data to the RF unit and the RF unit is activated by the wakeup signal to transmit the sensing data to an external device. If the RF unit is not activated by the wakeup signal, the sensor unit retransmits the wakeup signal.
