SURGICAL FORCEPS A surgical instrument (10), comprising: an end effector assembly (100) configured to treat tissue with energy; an insulative member (110); and an energizable member (120) configured to treat tissue with energy, the insulative member (110) and the energizable member (120) configured to move between a retracted position, wherein the insulative member (110) and at least a portion of the energizable member (120) are positioned proximally of the end effector assembly (100), and an extended position, wherein the insulative member (110) is disposed about the end effector assembly (100) and at least a portion of the energizable member (120) extends distally from the end effector assembly (100).
