PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a simple operation of character input from a touch panel disposed in a display section even on such an electronic apparatus with a size constraint on a display section as a cellphone.SOLUTION: A portable terminal device of the invention includes an operation input/display device displaying a plurality of areas, includes an input section for inputting first information and second information accompanying the first information, displays the first information assigned to at least one of the plurality of areas, and while detecting a state of operation input to one of the plurality of areas, displays the first information corresponding to the one area and, instead of the first information displayed in other areas adjacent to the one area of the operation input, the second information accompanying the first information corresponding to the one area, so as to accept an operation input to each of the first information and the second information and a release of the operation input, and inputs information where the operation input detected is released at last. |
