INK COMPOSITION FOR CLEAR LAYER FORMATION, METHOD FOR APPLYING THE SAME, AND PRINTED MATTER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for clear layer formation, which has excellent adhesion to any of a substrate, a recording layer and a clear layer, and which is excellent in an overcoat and wet-on-wet coating characteristics, and to provide a method for applying the same and printed matter formed by using the same.SOLUTION: The printed matter includes at least two clear layers of 3a and 3b formed by using an ink composition for clear layer formation on a substrate 1 or on a printed matter having a printed coating film formed as a recording layer 2 on the substrate 1. A cured material of the ink composition for clear layer formation has surface free energy of 40 to 43.4 (mJ/m), and the ink composition for clear layer formation has a contact angle of 45 to 60 degrees on the clear layer 3a.
