PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide liquid cleansers with excellent storage stability, which comprise C-Clinear fatty acid and water soluble or water swellable starch, in order to structure a composition and prevent phase separation.SOLUTION: A liquid cleansing composition comprises (by wt.): (1) 2 to 30% of a surfactant selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants, nonionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, cationic surfactants, or mixtures thereof; (2) 0 to 30% of a benefit agent (emollient oils and/or particles); and (3) a structuring system containing: (i) C-Clinear fatty acid ; and (ii) 0.5 to 15% of non-modified starch or modified starch chemically or physically modified to enhance dissolution or swelling of starch in water. |
