PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC/DC converter, a method of operation thereof, and an electronic apparatus which prevent an overvoltage and an overcurrent caused at an operation stop.SOLUTION: A DC/DC converter 10 includes: a transformer 15 arranged between an input and an output; a main MOS transistor Qconnected in series between a primary side inductance L1 of the transformer and a ground potential; a synchronous rectification MOS transistor Qconnected in series between a secondary side inductance L2 of the transformer and the ground potential; a return MOS transistor Qconnected between a secondary output of the transformer and the ground potential to return an output current; and a controller 30 connected to the main MOS transistor and the synchronous rectification MOS transistor to control an input current and control the output current as well. Upon an operation stop, the controller stops the synchronous rectification MOS transistor and the return MOS transistor by a soft stop operation. |
