The managing apparatus has a sending unit configured to send a mode switch signal to the control unit in response to the detection signal. When a position of the wireless communication terminal is detected, the sending unit sends the mode switch signal in response to the detection signal to the control unit for switching a predetermined number or more of access points to the standby mode, and the control unit switches the access points to the standby mode.
