<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance device and an image forming apparatus capable of providing a good separation property even for sheets of low rigidity.SOLUTION: The sheet conveyance device includes a rotatable endless adsorption belt 2 which is disposed to face an upper surface of a stacked sheet bundle 1, and adsorption means such as a charging member 3 for making the adsorption belt 2 adsorb an uppermost sheet 1a of the sheet bundle 1. Separation means such as a push member 35 is provided for pushing the adsorption belt 2 to bend an adsorption region which the uppermost sheet 1a is adsorbed, so that sheets other than the uppermost sheet are separated from the adsorption belt 2. A curvature of a contact surface between the separation means and the adsorption belt 2 is variable.</p> |
