In manufacturing of a hollow molded article by a hollow molded article manufacturing apparatus (10), a pair of molding dies (17a, 18a) provided holding a sheet-shaped parison (P) therebetween and another pair of molding dies (18b, 17b) are prepared, and the sheet-shaped parison (P) is molded into a predetermined shape. Built-in components (20a, 20b) are fixed by piston parts (19) to the molded sheet-shaped parison (P), and a portion molded by the pair of molding dies (17a, 18a) and a portion molded by the other pair of molding dies (18b, 17b) are cut apart by a cutter (25). After this cutting, predetermined molding dies (17a, 17b) are brought face-to-face and closed. Both of the sheet-shaped parisons (P1, P2) thus molded are thereby joined together, and a hollow molded article (P3) is formed. |
