摘要 The present invention relates to lithium transition metal composite particles, a method for preparing the same, and a lithium secondary battery comprising the same, the lithium transition metal composite particles comprising: lithium transition metal oxide particles; a metal-doped layer formed by being doped with the lithium transition metal oxide particles; and LiF formed on the lithium transition metal oxide particles comprising the metal-doped layer. The lithium transition metal composite particles of the present invention, if used as positive active materials, decrease the amount of lithium impurities present on the surface of positive active materials, thereby being capable of inhibiting a side reaction with electrolytes and thus minimizing a swelling phenomenon. In addition, the lithium transition metal composite particles comprise the metal-doped layer doped on the lithium transition metal oxide particles, thereby protecting the surface of the positive active materials from HF gas and improving the structural stability of the positive active materials, and thus enhancing the electrochemical characteristics of the lithium secondary battery.
